How is your week going? I hope you’re experiencing God in new ways this week through your time in prayer, worship, reading the Bible, and obeying God in your everyday stuff. This week my home group studied the beginning of the Book of John, where Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding (John 2:1-11). The servants noted the quality of the wine, but what they probably missed was the deeper significance of Jesus’ miracle. While I am not going to disclose, in this message, what I think the significance is, I encourage you to study the Book of John along with our church this summer.

While turning water into wine may bring temporary joy (if you like wine), understanding the richness of God’s grace and salvation brings eternal joy. Reflect on that this week as you experience different challenges in life.

Here’s the news:

Church-Wide Prayer Meetings Starting this Sunday

If we believe God hears and answers our prayers, then all of our efforts as followers of Christ should begin with prayer. Join us for this time to share prayer requests, praise God for what He is doing in our home groups, and take time to petition our Father to send us into the harvest and make us fruitful workers in His kingdom.

These meetings will take place approximately every other week with some exceptions. See the calendar for the exact date, time, and location.

For the faith of the gospel,
John
