Dear Friends,
With the semester about to end and deadlines quickly approaching, stress can quickly accumulate and control us rather than the Spirit of God. My life group discussed this passage from Philippians 2 last night so I thought it would be a good exhortation for us all to continue in righteousness.
Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe--Philippians 2:14-15 NIV

Grow Seminars: Characteristics of God
During this week’s Sunday Service, GCL will host GROW seminars. These seminars will focus on a characteristic of God and are designed to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. LINC Summer Project
Do you have plans for this summer? Are you looking for way to grow in your relationship with Christ? Do you want to join up with 40 other Christians to make an impact in the Kingdom of God? If so, come this Sunday (March 28th) to the LINC Summer Project meeting for everyone who is planning on attending and for people who would like more information. We’ll meet at the Gordons’ house on Sunday at 8:00 P.M. Dessert will be provided.
Easter Celebration
For Easter (April 4th) this year, GCL we’ll have an Easter celebration with special music, powerful drama and a message focused on the power of the resurrection. Easter is an opportune time to share the message of Christ with friends, especially those who participate in Connect Groups, and to invite them to our Easter celebration. Plan on staying after service for a free, church-wide Easter lunch on the colonnade outside of Carleton Auditorium.
UniteNow: Serve
On March 28th, 100s of college students will team up to serve the Gainesville community. This is a chance for our church body to unite with other Christians in order to be the light of Christ to others. There will be a free breakfast and many different opportunities to serve.
