Hello everybody!
I wanted to say a quick thank you to all of you helped with the reunion. It was awesome and enjoyed by many! Praise God for nice weather too.
If there is one thing you do this week, make sure you spend some time listening to Tom Short. This is usually a highlight of the month of November for me because Tom is so good at defending the faith and responding to the many personalities that will come out of hiding while he is here. I learn a lot every time. If there is one more thing you do this week, register for Faithwalkers!
Daylight Savings Ends
On Sunday, November 1, 2:00 A.M., the local time "falls" back to 1:00 A.M. We suggest you move your clock back before you go to sleep on Saturday night unless you want to arrive one hour early for Sunday Service.
Not Your Ordinary Campus Preacher
Tom Short will engage in open-air preaching at Turlington Plaza this Monday and Tuesday, November 2 & 3 from noon until 5:00 P.M. This is a great opportunity to learn how to defend the faith as you listen to Tom openly dialogue with those who have spiritual questions. Also, Tom will be returning to U.F. on Sunday, November 8, to teach at our 11:30 A.M. service. He will be sharing on the essential spiritual disciplines of a disciple.
Upcoming Unite Opportunities
* November 8: Unite NOW: Prayer at 8:00 P.M. At the Reitz Union North Lawn. Come together with Christians from all the various U.F. Christian-student organizations and be united in prayer for our campus for a couple of hours.
* November 15-22: Unite NOW: A.S.K. 24/7. GCL will pick one, 24-hour period to enlist our saints to sign up for one hour blocks of time to pray for our campus.
* November 22: Unite NOW: Worship at 7:00 P.M. at the Reitz Union Amphitheater. Unite with Christians from across campus for a night of amazing, God-glorifying worship.
