Foundations Class
Are you new to GCL? We invite you to learn more about our church family through the Foundations Class this Sunday, Sept. 20th from 1:15-3:00 following the service in Little Hall room 121. This class will provide you with an understanding of the beliefs, mission, and organization of our church. A free lunch will be provided. If you have already been to Foundations feel free to come with some new students from your Life Group.
Beach Retreat
More than 200 of us will journey to Daytona Beach's El Caribe Resort and spend Friday night and Saturday in true fellowship, exciting worship, biblical teaching, and fun on the beach. The cost is only $25 but will go after Sunday 9/27. Fee includes hotel stay, snack on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, retreat speaker and activities as well as a guaranteed good time. Be ready to have fun with your friends and make some unforgettable memories. Register today after Sunday Service or at Home Group this week.
Baptism
Ocean baptisms at the Beach Retreat! Are you a believer in Christ and haven't been baptized yet? Or do you have a friend who is a Christian but has never taken this key step of obedience to Christ? The opportunity to get baptized will be on Saturday Oct. 3rd. This is a great oppurtunity to step out in obedience and show your commitment to Christ. Please contact your Life Group leader or Justin Dicus(352-318-3489) for more details as well as some instructions about water baptism.
