Dear fellow workers in the gospel,
I imagine that many of you are excited that spring break is almost here, and I am excited that it will likely not look like Elvis’ 1965 movie about spring break called Girl Happy. (I am not an Elvis fan, but I was subjected to this film on a family trip with my in-laws.) On the contrary, you’ll do well if you memorize Philippians 1:27 NASB: “Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;” God wants to use your spring break experience to advance His kingdom. Strive together each day in one spirit and mind—that of Jesus Christ!
Spring Break Outreach
In just a few days, many of us will be sent out on mission all across the country and to Spain. The gospel will be shared, churches will be encouraged, lives will be changed, and people’s faith in Christ will be deepened. Whether you are going on one of these trips or have other plans, please pray for each of the following mission trips specifically:

- BASIC Home Group: FIU/Miami, FL
- The Book Home Group: Tampa/St. Pete, FL

- J walkers Home Group: UNF/Jacksonville, FL
Sunday Service During Spring Break
GCL’s Sunday Service will meet during Spring Break, right here in Carleton Auditorium at 11:30 A.M. If you are in town, plan on joining us for worship and teaching.
Connect Group Opportunity
Are you interested in reaching out to international students at UF? Here is a great opportunity that you don’t want to miss. International Friendship, a Christian ministry at UF, is having it’s annual Lake Party on Saturday, March 20th from 1:00-6:30 P.M. They need 75 Americans to come to the party and hang out with more than 150 international students, as well as help in a limited serving role. This is an excellent Connect Group event for one or more people in your Home Group. Please email Ardith by Monday, March 15th by 5:00 P.M. at ardithabis@aol.com if you can come and participate in this outreach event. She will then have you sign up for a specific way you can help with the party.
